Children's Novel Set in Thailand
Glass, a long-time teacher at Mahasarakham University in Isaan, has created perfect gem-like short stories here. Each deals with one small but meaningful day in the life of young Nong and her teenage sister. Nong explores her village and the countryside around, learning from everyone she meets and from her older sister, who has problems of her own.
