Author: Margaret Read MacDonald Illustrator: Yvonne LeBrun Davis
An old couple discover they have been pouring their slops onto the home of a neighbor fairy couple. Suddenly they see things through their neighbor’s eyes, and discover a better way to handle their garbage.
Illustrator Yvonne Davis adds many Welsh elements to the book, including a Welsh corgie which the fairy man rides away on the back cover. Her research revealed that the white spot on the corgie’s back is believed to be a saddle for the fairies.
